E-sport and Starcraft 2: The climb to the top

Hello and welcome to my Starcraft 2 blog. My name is Frank Maas, hailing from The Netherlands, and here you will find me writing about the growing world of E-sports, Starcraft 2 in particular, and how pro gamers do what they do: Play a game to its fullest potential, not an easy feat and impossible for many.

After 4 weeks of training with the best Starcraft 2 players, discussing training methods, analyzing, and many more essential tricks of the trade, I will be trying to reach the top myself.

Following the end of Ladder Season 1, and the start of Season 2 (with the introduction of the top 200 League), follow me on this blog where I will write about the long, hard road to reach the top 200.

Keeping track of my progress and sharing some of the most valuable ways to train and improve in the same way as the top sponsored players do. A test period lasting 4 months, where I will be executing their methods and equaling their time devotion to try and reach the higher echelons and prepare for the Dutch World cyber Games qualifier.

But it goes beyond that. I will also cover the lifestyle of some of the well-known top players and commentators, sponsors and tournaments, to give you a glimpse into the world behind the progamer scene.

Starting when Season 2 starts on 29 march 2011.
